Sudden Coffee had an awesome product.. but with outdated design elements & frankly rather boring user experience… Stock Images, limited content, 1990’s feel landing page, no clear brand message or user path for success.
We came in & helped them totally revamp their Shopify Theme, taking our designs from Photoshop strait into code in the backend of Shopify. We saw an increase of 600% in sales & bounce rates go down signficantly.
We had the task of presenting a lot more data than their original design, as Josh & Kalle both saw the need to inform their customers of what sets Sudden apart from other coffee companies & especially instant coffee.
In order to do that we needed to present targeted content for users to be informed on everything that goes into Specialty Coffee & how easy it is to make Sudden Coffee.
We came up with a unique design in order to inform users of everything that goes into the coffee that SC uses to come up with the best "No Brew" Coffee in the world. They saw a need to inform their subscribers about how different the coffee SC uses is from the rest of the coffee world.
After the launch of the new site, with some help from their press department, Sudden Coffee was mentioned in over a dozen news publications, such as the New York Times, CNBC, Food&Wine, Product Hunt & Sprudge.
Not even to mention the other gift guides for Christmas that included SC.
In addition to seeing their sales overall increasing by 600% we also saw SC sell out of their 1000 holiday stocking stuffers during the month of December. All in all, we saw the reach increase for users, bounce rates decrease, time spent on the site increase & were part of a huge growth period for Sudden Coffee, it was a super exciting time to be working with Josh & Kalle and the entire SC team.
We also worked with Sudden Coffee on some print collateral for their subscribers & especially for the holiday packs.
